We have been creating gardens in Bath, and the surrounding areas of the South West of England, over the last 14 years. Sophie Strutt Landscapes has an experience of working on a broad range of projects over this time, from redesigning, landscaping, renovating and replanting gardens in many different aspects. From shaded valley aspects, steep hillsides, flat sites that need more interest, exposed sunny sites, sites with tricky drainage issues, small urban gardens where space is a commodity, and large expansive wild gardens. Every garden is unique and has it’s own issues to overcome, which we have a varied experience of.

We understand how gardens work and the infrastructure that needs to be put in place to have a good working garden, from remoulding the natural landscape to putting in hard landscaping and soft landscaping, removing plants that are unwanted and adding in plants that will give you pleasure throughout the seasons and making the most of whatever aspect you have in your garden. We strive to make low maintenance and beautiful, usable outdoor spaces with as little maintenance for you for you as possible.

We seek to make a space feel as though it is created especially you, following your brief and the needs that you have for it in an imaginative way, with the best materials for the job to create a space to relax and unwind in, a space for your children to play or a space to grow food and herbs. We hope to create for you an exclusive outdoor space that you can go to find peace and tranquility.
